Welcome to the inaugural post of the Thread Of The Day blog where I will scour the internet for noteworthy forum threads. They may be interesting, silly, informative, serious, scary, entertaining, all of the above, or none of the above.  

 Let’s first start with the age old philosophy question that has been argued to death but will never be put to rest,

“If a tree fall in the woods and nobody is around to hear it, does it make a sound?”

The members at www.unexplained-mysteries.com have tackled this important issue. The answer to me is obviously yes, it does make a sound, but there are compelling arguments for and against.

That thread is a little old, but I had to use it because it is related to a question that is currently on my mind. If you create a little blog, but nobody reads it, or even knows about it, does the blog exist?
