No Fireman Discount
Many of the members of the forum at firehouse.com are firemen. They are selfless, honorable, and humble citizens of their communities and don’t expect anything in return for their invaluable services.
In today’s Thread Of The Day they are irate when a new member of the forum whines and overreacts about not getting a discount at a Golden Corral restaurant.

Seeing the firemen’s reaction gave me a whole new respect for those guys. They don’t feel entitled to anything. That kind of attitude is hard to find these days.
