<p>October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The main objective of this program is to promote early detection of breast cancer. Women who catch the cancer in it&#8217;s earliest stages will have easier and more successful treatment.</p>
<p>In today&#8217;s thread, a concerned women is worried about a lump she has found. Her doctor examined it and found other lumps, too. Now she is scheduled for a mammogram the day before her 32nd birthday.</p>

<p>The other members reassure her that she shouldn&#8217;t be scared, 80% of lumps are benign. If it is cancer, it is great that it will be caught early.</p>
