Today’s Thread of the Day has a more positive vibe than yesterday’s and was submitted by Iamdeman at CarAudio.com
The members of CarAudio.com have a forum thread which is probably the second biggest one I have ever seen. It is up to 91,235 replies and quickly growing.
http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=238095
Here they share some good and random things that have been going on with themselves. Rumor has it that Lil John and Steven Spielberg are in negotiations to co-produce a movie based on this thread.
Amazingly, the longest thread I ever seen is also in this forum and it’s twice as big.

Today’s thread is very sad.
BrownCafe.com has a forum for UPS workers to discuss their jobs. The wife of one member logged into his account to announce to other members that her husband was fired on Friday, November 14th, 2008, then killed himself on Monday, November 17th.

She goes into more details on post #63.
Please pray for Janice and her family during these trying times.

Today’s thread is in the forum of PeakOil.com. They are arguing whether or not Barack Obama is a natural born citizen of the United States. Some people say he is not, and therefore not eligible to be President of the United States.

The Myrtle Beach Bike week is a huge event for Harley Davidson owners. 300,000 bikers show up for this annual ten day event.
However, Myrtle Beach has recently passed ordinances that limit the freedom of bikers. For some odd reason, many residents don’t like the extra hundred thousand motorcycles loudly cruising through their neighborhoods at all hours of the day and night. They also don’t care for the constant party atmosphere.
I don’t blame the residents of Myrtle Beach. I like to have a good time as much as the next guy, and I respect bikers, but I wouldn’t want that many people partying in my town. I don’t care how they get there; bikers, unicycle riders, magic flying carpet drivers, Segway riders, train hoppers, whatever. That’s just too many people disrupting my home. (Well, maybe thousands of flying carpets would be kind of cool.)
Today’s Thread of the Day is at v-twinforum.com where the members are upset over these new ordinances. They feel it is unfair and they will never spend another dime in Myrtle Beach again. Hopefully this boycott will hurt the town financially and show local officials what a mistake they have made.
Many claim it is the fault of the black bikers. Yeah, that must be it. White bikers don’t make noise, clog streets, and get drunk.
Don’t take this the wrong way my biker readers. I have nothing against you individually. But, I can understand people not wanting such a huge party atmosphere in their town.

From my files marked “eew that’s gross, remind me to wear boots if I ever have to shower at a tobacco chewer’s home” I present today’s Thread of the Day:
Skoal, Copenhagen, and other snuff users proudly discuss chewing in the shower. They find it liberating not having to spit into a bottle.

Although the TV show Frasier ended it’s run a few years ago, it lives on in syndication. The forum at frasieronline.co.uk is still quite active with fans.
Today’s Thread of the Day hasn’t had any replies in over a year, but I am fascinated by it.
Based on visual and verbal clues witnessed on the show, the members are trying to agree on the floor plan of Frasier Crane’s Seattle condo.
This is the third and last version the floor plan maker made based on input from others:
Unfortunately, there are scenes from some episodes that still seem to contradict this drawing. Unless it is a shape shifting building, an apartment that fits the flow of every scene, from every episode, probably couldn’t exist in real life.

Which Blu-ray movies have the best picture quality, and which have the best sound quality? That is the question over at the blu-ray.com forum.
http://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=73229
My vote for best picture quality is “Planet Earth“. Anyone who owns a Blu-ray player should definitely have “Planet Earth” to show off their HD tv capabilities. The best place to buy it and other titles, in my opinion, is BluRave.com.
